Mission of Work
Congregations of the LCMS deliver Christ's Word and Sacraments to their members and preach Christ crucified for the forgiveness of sins to their communities. The NID assists congregations in this proclamation by helping them find faithful pastors, operate in a financially responsible way and ensure their fidelity to the Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions. The NID has been instrumental in the past few years in connecting churches for potential partnerships to the benefit of all participating congregations.
Challenges, Opportunities, and Goals
My service on the NID BOD has helped supplement my previous experience serving on congregational boards and in various leadership positions throughout my career. I would bring these experiences to the NID to help it accomplish its goals of supporting congregations in their mission.
