I am privileged to have served as classroom teacher, school administrator, organist, and choir director in several LCMS congregations and schools in the Chicago area. I serve my current congregation as a member of the Board of Education, co-director of Swaddling Clothes, and teacher/director of Sunday School children in the learning and singing of hymns. I am also the fulltime organist at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, West Dundee.

I am a member of Concordia Chicago Board of Regents at Concordia University Chicago, having served two terms. I actively participate in subcommittee assignments as well as ad hoc committees, including Presidential Search Committee and Mission/Vision Committee.

The mission of the church is to properly preach and teach Law and Gospel, announce Absolution to those confessing their sins, and to faithfully administer the Sacraments.

I believe Concordia Chicago is uniquely positioned to excellently serve the church, families, and world as it prepares students for vocation within the environment of Lutheran Identity. The vacuous state of the world begs for meaning, boundaries, and hope. With Christ at the center, Concordia Chicago has everything the world needs and is searching to receive: Truth. Freedom. Vocation. As many fine programs continue, recent additions such as the Center for Christian Education and the Free Enterprise Center enhance the breadth and depth of of CUC's capacity. I am privileged to have served with bright, talented, and devoted Lutheran pastors and members of the laity as we continually strive to serve the Church in a manner which brings honor to our Lord. All this is challenging! Yet, God faithfully supplies all that is needed to continue with the forgiveness, strength, and wisdom His mercy supplies.
