I view the mission of the LCMS to be gathered around the Word and Sacraments of our Lord, remaining steadfast in our common confession, and proclaiming Christ to the world. The Lord's mission is likewise at work here in Northern Illinois. In our midst, Jesus indeed gives His good gifts of forgiveness, life, and salvation through us to people who need Him.
Challenges, Opportunities, and Goals
It would be a blessing to serve the district in securing nominations of pastors, commissioned ministers, and laity who are ready to willingly and faithfully serve the congregations of the Northern Illinois District.
