Camp CILCA
Registration
Registration is now open. You may register online for the events and overnight accommodations at Camp CILCA.
Presenter: Dr. Dave Rueter is a rostered DCE and is certified by the Fuller Youth Institute as the official LCMS Growing Young speaker. Dr. Rueter is the author of Teaching the Faith at Home and Called to Serve (both CPH) and contributor to Relationships Count and Connected for Life (also both CPH). Since 1998, he has served as a DCE for congregations in Huntington Beach, Rancho Cucamonga, and now Livermore, CA. Additionally, he has served on the faculty at Concordia University Irvine and the staff of the LCMS Pacific Southwest District. Dr. Rueter is married to Andrea and has two sons, James and Wesley.
Registration deadline is September 13, 2024.
Important information
Each attendee must register separately. The registration includes dates you will be attending the events as well as overnight accommodations at Camp CILCA. Register for the events first and then return to add the accommodations (if staying at Camp CILCA) before going to the “check out.”
Registration cost for events:
$80.00 for 3 days, Thursday-Saturday, September 26-28, 2024
$50.00 for 2 days, Friday-Saturday, September 27-28, 2024
Registration costs for overnight accommodations at Camp CILCA:
With space being limited, it is first come/first served. Please be sure after you register for accommodations online to ALSO contact Lauren Rodgers at program@cilca.org with where you are staying at CILCA (Retreat Center or Christian Growth Center). The Christian Growth Center has 14 rooms that each sleep up to three people. The Retreat Center is a dorm-like center that sleeps 10-16 people per room. Please also let her know the name if you want to stay in the Christian Growth Center and have roommates. If you are staying in the Christian Growth Center and are open to having a roommate, but do not have a specific roommate in mind, please let Lauren know and she will try to put you in contact with a roommate of the same gender.
Christian Growth Center: $65/per person/night. Up to three people or single occupancy (14 rooms). Consider sharing with others. Each room has three beds (one double and two twins) and a full bathroom and shower.
Retreat Center: $18/per person/night. Two separate rooms with bunkbeds in each; dorm style housing with shared bathroom and showers (42 beds).
Overnight accommodations offsite:
There are other events taking place in the area, and these hotels will book quickly. If using a hotel, book accommodations as soon as you are able as rooms are not guaranteed. You must book and pay for offsite accommodations on your own.
