Mission-minded women of the LWML NID – Lutheran Women in Mission – will gather in convention on Friday and Saturday, September 20 and 21, 2024. The convention will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6850 W. 159th St., Tinley Park, IL 60477.
There are service opportunities at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. One of the highlights of this convention will be the Communion Service which will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Registration and coffee begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. The convention procession will begin at 9:00 a.m.
The convention theme is “Love and honor one another.” (Romans 12:10)
Goals are to accept one another, pray for each other, share and give to those in need. David Fiala, LCMS Mission Advocate, is the keynote speaker.
Registration fee is $55 before July 21, 2024, including Saturday lunch. The fee is $80 beginning on July 21, 2024. A livestream of Saturday’s event is available for only $10.
